Hey guys! So, I decided to do a little different post this time from the plain old book reviews (don’t worry I’ll keep on doing them)!

I wonder if you enjoy listening to music whilst reading as I do?

Usually when I’m reading I like to picture that the story is a movie. Every movie has a soundtrack, right? Therefore, I like to listen to different genres of music depending on what kind of book I’m reading at the time.

Historical Fiction:

When reading these type of books, I like to listen to more instrumental or classical music. I think it gives a more realistic background since these stories are set in the past.

When I was a kid my mom gave to me an album called A Day at the Beach by Chie Nagatani that includes a variety of famous classical pieces from artists like Debussy, Ravel, Beethoven among others. The music is played on the piano accompanied by the sound of rolling waves, creating a soothing atmosphere ideal for reading, relaxing or even to try and focus on work.
