Bullseye by Monica James

For twelve long years, I’ve breathed, I’ve bled for only one thing…

Four men took something from me, something which can never be replaced. That one night changed the lives of so many and taught me that monsters are real.

But I also learned I’m the biggest monster of them all.

Nothing and no one will stand in my way of redemption because those men…they’re now three. The fourth—he is the reason they call me Bullseye. They can run, but sooner or later, I’ll find them, just as I did with their friend. They’re already dead…they just don’t know it yet.

My plan was simple until I met her. A fierce tiger who had the power to break my heart. Lucky for me…she can’t break what’s already broken. I am no longer a man because the world is a jungle, and we’re all just animals—ready to tear one another apart.

First of all, I want to thank Monica James for this amazing ARC. She never misses to include me in her review team! I was really impressed with Bullseye! It has a little bit of everything and romance is not exactly the main reason you should read this book.

I would say this story is more about redemption. Bull is consumed by grief and resentment, thanks to his brother’s murder. That’s why he dedicates his life to hunt the four men who killed Damian.

Everything was going to plan until he meets the wild Tigerlilly, or like he loves to call her, Tiger. Her actual name is Lily and I agree she’s a total firecracker! Circumstances have her stripping at The Pink Oyster, the club where Bull eventually finds a job as a bouncer.

Although he tries to constantly put a barrier between him a Lily, he can’t get enough of her. Despite his façade of indifference, he’s always there to protect her…and give her the danger she’s constantly seeking.

Moreover, along the book, you’ll realize that there story is more connected than you might think at the beginning!

I personally think Bullseye is amazing. Watch out for a cliffhanger though! Can’t wait for her to release the second book already!
