Book Review: Bad Saint

First of all, I would like to thank the wonderful Monica James and the Social Butterfly team for this awesome ARC!

This is the first book I read by Monica James and boy was I impressed! At first, I honestly thought this was going to be a cheesy as hell novel, but I was so glad to wrong. It literally hooks you up from the beginning and you just can’t put it down. I was in class the other day, and I had to sneak my iPad between my books so I could keep up with Willow and Saint. The story is that addicting!

The storyline the author follows is something entirely different to what we’re used to. I honestly think you can see the effort poured over these words. We have so much going on- a marriage – a kidnapping – getting lost in a deserted island. Man, that takes time! However, you just want the story to keep going.

Although, she’s very clear that this book is part of a trilogy, I almost had a meltdown when I reached the end of the book!James rewards us with a mega cliffhanger, so watch out for that.

The characters are both captivating in different ways. Willow is innocent but at the same time, extremely courageous. On the other hand, Saint is not innocent at all. Being through hell and back, he has witnessed horrible things that have taken a toll on him, believing he’s not a good person anymore.

I truly recommend this book to all of you that are into adventurous romances. Monica James, portrays tension in a way you can almost physically see it, and some scenes are extremely hot…

Being release day and all, I don’t want to give you spoilers! Please go and get your copy and I promise you, you’ll be reading all night!

Please let me know what you think!
